I will pray for these sons and granddaughter. That is not an easy situation to not see your family. I pray for your comfort as well as for God to open up the opportunity for you to see them again.

Yes without prayer, then that miraculous unity is just a pipedream

Excellent sermon. Excellent delivery. Excellent metaphors and connections. Praise God! I have been waiting for this UNITY sermon for quite some time now. Amazing, I am truly blessed. There are so many connections and ways in which this sermon resonates with me and deepen my understanding of what it means to be in Christ and in unity. It is so difficult for me to pinpoint what resonated the most. When I was preparing for baptized, the Bible verse I selected was, John 15:4 “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.”

In listening to today's sermon, it became clear to me that we are united in Christ through the Holy Spirit. A connection I made from today’s sermon is when we evangelize within the church or invite non-believers or non-Christians to reconsider and put God first, conviction will only take place through the presence of the Holy Spirit, meaning we as evangelizers being in Christ and Christ being in us. If we are not in Christ through the Holy Spirit, we are not united with Him. If we are not united with Him, it is impossible for our evangelism efforts to result in conviction. When we are not united in Christ through the Holy Spirit, we share our own message, based on our own knowledge, and our own doctrine; we are not extending His message. We can only bear more faithful fruits or expand the Seventh Adventist faith if we are united in Christ through the Holy Spirit, share His message of love and unity.

That is an amazing passage. What a great verse to be read at your baptism?
Thats exactly right. The Holy Spirit within us empowers us to reach people. Thats why the Holy Spirit is the main character in the book of Acts
