These discussion questions are based on the sermon titled "Born in a Cursed World".
Here are some discussion questions that you can talk about with the people that are in your home with you. You can also call a friend who was watching and discuss it with them. Or you can break out a notebook and use these questions to journal your thoughts on the message. Those who are at the church will discuss this after the message.

1. Why do many people not want to bring children into this world?

2. How is this world cursed?

3. How does God save us from this cursed world?

4. Why is it important to be born again

5. What message did you personally take away from this sermon?

6. How can you apply this sermon to your life?

7. What practical thing can you do today to get started?

1. Why do many people not want to bring children into this world?

It gets harder and harder to raise children with the amount of negative influences that exist in this world that seek to distract children & tear families apart. Even when we see parents who do their very best to raise their children, that doesn't guarantee the soul salvation of their children. There is only so much one can shield their child from.

3. How does God save us from this cursed world?

God saves us from this cursed world by providing us a way out. It's always great to be reminded of how consistent God is throughout the Bible. The message from the beginning to the end proclaims that He will make away for us and pull us out of this sin sick world.

5. What message did you personally take away from this sermon?
One thing to take away from this message is the importance of making sure not only that children know who God is but to teach them how to have that personal relationship with Him. It was Moses' mother's personal decision to put Moses in a basket and then into the dangerous Nile, it was the personal decision of the each and every Israelites to follow Moses and step into the parted Red Sea, it was Peter's personal decision to step onto/into the water toward Jesus. If we can take those personal steps toward Him in faith we can have the assurance that He WILL pull us out of this cursed world.

There is a lot of negative influences in the world... thing is there was always negative influences and wickedness. Like I mentioned about the first person that was born became a murderer. Why have more children after the first one came out so bad.

Thats true, the Bible is story of God is saving us from this cursed world.

Leave it to the teacher lol to personally take the idea of raising Children in the Lord.

1. Why do many people not want to bring children into this world?
I am not sure why many people do not want to bring children in this world. I believe that children are a blessing and creation is a blessing. People might be apprehensive about wanting to bring children into this world because they believe it might be a difficult experience to parent children or afraid that they won't be a model parent or maybe they are afraid that their children might be treated negatively by others. I believe that when our trust in fully in Christ, we will see a way through any challenge and even if we cannot see the way, let Christ lead. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall [a]direct your paths." I am afraid and nervous about many things in this life and I place al things in the hands of the Lord.

3. How does God save us from this cursed world?
God saves us from this cursed world by offering us a friend in Jesus.

4. Why is it important to be born again?
It is important to be born again to accept Christ as our savior.
2 Corinthians 5:17 say, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."

I can see how some people can get nervous about not being able to be a good parent. I don't think everyone should be a parent. One must first have God as their father before they can truly be equipped to raise a child.
