We were suppose to start today part 2 of Back to Acts today in Bedford Park Church.
What I decided to do is put the sermons here on my website.
Right now you can catch up and watch any sermon from part 1 that you missed.
Each Friday I will add another chapter here on my website.

As one who has always valued unity especially in church and the church has been more my family than actual relatives, I've never been really good with goodbyes...so the whole bit about Jesus departing from the disciples really hit me in a new way. Gave me something to think about. How that musta felt. It was also interesting to note that casting of lots. In reading throughbthe gospels in the past 2 weeks or so it was interesting to come across Matthew 27:3 "Then Judas, His betrayer, seeing that He had been condemned, was remorseful and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,"..."seeing that He had been condemned"...I wonder if Judas even though He knew the Pharisees wanted to kill Jesus was still kinda fooling himself in thinking the Pharisees wouldn't suceed/oh, this will never happen cuz Jesus is the son of God? Cuz it was when (the sentence starts with the word 'then') Judas saw Jesus was condemned that Judas was remorseful. We may not ever know for sure what was going on cuz we werent there...I just thought that was interesting to read.

I think your thought is very valid. I think it is very possible that Judas thought that Jesus wouldn't allow himself to die. After all they tried throwing Jesus off a cliff but Jesus walked through that crowd and they could do nothing to stop him from leaving. (Luke 4:29-30) Perhaps He went invisible. So the idea that Jesus would allow himself to be crucified... No way!
